Our story
Crafted with intent, for one person at a time
Holokraft began with a simple frustration: the things we give people should feel like them. Not like aisle seven. So we built a studio where every object starts with a story and ends as something you can hold.
Why 3D printing, and not a factory line?
Mass manufacturing is brilliant at making ten thousand identical things. But a gift isn't supposed to be identical. A lamp for your reading corner, a keychain with your dog's name, a figurine of the two of you on your first trek — none of these belong on a conveyor belt.
Printing lets us customize without compromise. Change a name, a colour, a size, and the next piece off the bed is genuinely different — not a sticker on a standard product. It also means we make things to order, so nothing is produced hoping someone will buy it. The low-waste part isn't a marketing line; it's just how the craft works.
And honestly? There's something honest about the process. You can see the layers. You can feel where the object grew. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than made.
From sketch to spool to shelf
How every piece comes to life
Then it becomes filament
We choose materials the way a potter chooses clay: soft-touch matte PLA for everyday warmth, wood-fill for grain and weight, translucent stock for pieces meant to glow.
Brought to life with care
Each object grows a fraction of a millimetre at a time. A name keychain takes an hour; a couple figurine takes days. We watch the first layers like a baker watches the rise.
Finished by hand
Off the print bed, every piece is inspected, cleaned, and finished by hand before it's wrapped. If it isn't something we'd gift ourselves, it goes back — not out.
